Sales
Our sales team is made up of a Head of Sales, Regional Sales Managers and Telephone BDMs, who are always ready and raring to provide expert advice on our products and criteria, or to help you with a potential case.
 Andy Rowe - Head of Sales Andy originally joined Zephyr back in 2017 and was part of the team that helped launch the brand to market. With 23 years as both a broker and working within the specialist lending environment, Andy has extensive expertise that help our brokers confidently place their complex BTL enquiries. Living in Norfolk, Andy supports brokers, Packagers, Clubs and Networks across North London, East Anglia and the Midlands. In his spare time Andy plays bass in a local band and is also a keen artist and has sold many commission pieces. |
 Alice Waites - Regional Sales Manager Alice has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, beginning her career as a mortgage administrator before advancing to a senior mortgage advisor role. After gaining valuable experience in advising clients, she chose to become self-employed, allowing her to broaden her expertise in the mortgage sector. In recent years, Alice made the decision to transition to working for lenders and providers, where she has focused on specialist lending and general insurance, further expanding her knowledge and skill set in these areas. Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is a dedicated ice hockey fan and loves following the sport in her free time. |
 Liam Cooper - Telephone Business Development Manager Liam joined the Zephyr team in July 2021, having previously worked within the Readiness team which assisted with the launch of Zephyr back in 2019, he also has a lot of experience in dealing closely with brokers and customers, spending his whole career focusing on clients and giving them the best possible service and experience. Outside of Zephyr, Liam enjoys spending time with his family, going on spontaneous day trips and is looking forward to watching his football team Sunderland at the stadium of light again. |
 Sam Phillipson - Telephone Business Development Manager Sam has worked in the FS industry for 16 years, firstly in banking for Newcastle Building Society, then for the past 7 years in mortgages with Computershare. Within Computershare, he started with M&S Bank as a New Lending Consultant dealing with all aspects of the application process. For the past 4 years prior to his TBDM role, he worked on the operations side of Zephyr as part of the admin team. Sam also worked as an Estate Agent for 3 years and has experience with the valuation side of things and the housing market in general. Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and following Newcastle United. He is also a big fan of the UFC. |
 Simon Alvey - Telephone Business Development Manager Simon has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and has specifically been working in the BTL sector since 2007. He has previously been a Portfolio Relationship Manager for Mortgage Express, specialising in Portfolio Lending. Outside of work, Simon is married with 2-3 kids (if you count the dog) and fitness is his obsession. He loves the gym, 5 a side, long walks in the Yorkshire countryside and has done a few half marathons, including the Great North Run twice. He’s also done three ‘Tough Mudders’, two of which was with colleagues. |

With a mix of underwriters and case handlers, our experienced Broker Support team are here to deal with any case-specific queries from brokers, solicitors or conveyancers. The team focus on moving every case through to completion as efficiently as possible, managing your expectations and giving you a consistent, reliable service.

 | Head of Product Development Ross Ackroyd Ross has been part of Computershare Loan Services since 2016 and was heavily involved in the creation and launch of Zephyr Homeloans. Ross has over 20 years mortgage product experience and is passionate about developing products and services that meet the needs both of our intermediary partners and landlords. Away from work Ross can be found playing rugby, running and enjoying long walks with his 5 year old black lab, Buddy. |
Marketing & PR
Our marketing team are focused on bringing you helpful content about Zephyr's products and services. We look after the Zephyr website, send out broker emails, manage our social media profile and maintain our suite of documents. We also work with the trade media and our broker partners to deliver a range of events, webinars and editorials.
 | Head of Marketing Tim Newman Tim has been with Computershare Loan Services since 2016 and was part of the team who helped launch Zephyr Homeloans. Tim has over 20 years’ experience in financial service marketing and particularly enjoys working closely with BDMs and broker partners to help grow Zephyr. Away from the (home) office, Tim is a father of young twin boys, so has hardly any time these days to enjoy his hobbies which used to include hockey, running and cycling. |
 | Senior Marketing Manager Jonty Hydes Jonty has over 30 years’ financial services experience having spent time at Bradford & Bingley, Santander and Provident. Up until 2019, he had been Head of Marketing at Tenet Group for 10 years, so he has a great understanding of the mortgage and broker market. Outside of work, Jonty loves spending time with friends and family, and also loves getting out for long walks in the Yorkshire countryside.
